Metronet contracts

The company does not require a contract for any of the Metronet packages. However, you may be subject to a price increase when the introductory period ends after the first 12 months.

Metronet equipment

A Metronet router is included with all of the internet plans. Metronet modems are not needed.

Metronet fees

Metronet internet prices have a variety of taxes and fees added to the monthly bill, including a local broadcast fee, network transmission fee and a $25 installation fee, along with other surcharges and taxes.

Additionally, a $9.95/mo. technology fee is added to every Metronet package. This fee covers all service calls, routers, broken set-top boxes or other equipment owned by Metronet.
